Stunning. The only way to describe a ride
through the "Kroppacher Schweiz". Pine forests, magnificent views and bends,
bends, bends.
Our first planned stop of the day is at the historical "Holsteins Mill" near
Nümbrecht. After a drink and a rest we follow the "Bröl" valley towards Hennef
and then on to the ancient town of Linz am Rhein for a chance to eat and soak
up the atmosphere.
In the afternoon we take a Rhein river ferry over to the Town made famous
by the film "The bridge at Remagen". Learn about the crossing of the Rhein
in WW2 at the bridge museum.
Our afternoon stop takes us back over the river and on to "Isenburg", one
of the best known biker meets in the region before heading back to the Hotel.
