A roller coaster
of a ride takes us to the town of "Linz Am Rhein" for a well earned morning
break. The route then takes us over the Rhein on a ferry and into the beautiful
"volcanic Eifel" region of Germany with some of the most incredible biking
roads on the planet!
After a stop for lunch, and maybe a spot of spectating it's on to the Nurburgring,
14.17 miles long with 73 corners and a height variance of 300 meters!
"Thats
nearly 1000ft difference from lowest to the highest point folks!"
The "Ring" is run as a one way public toll road, and is without a doubt one
of Europe's greatest tracks. Although a ride around the Ring is by no means
compulsory, this is surely an experience of a lifetime not to be missed!
