Sorpe & Mohne Dams
For our first stop of the day we have chosen the beautiful Biggesee with glorious views over the lake. Our next stop of the day takes us to the Sorpesee which is where we find the Sorpe dam of Dambusters fame. A short hop and its the Mohne dam for our midday break. Bristling with history the surrounding countryside is a fitting setting to soak up the atmosphere and reflect on past events here.
